Your Key Programme
Your Key – to ensure you qualify
Our Your Key Programme offers you some highly unusual features and benefits to help you qualify.
Your Key
Students will be able to e-mail their lectures with personal queries to receive answers. They will have access to mock exam papers and solutions which can be downloaded from the web. In this private space that the Your Key Programme student creates, they will be able to set up a virtual environment that will set them on the road to success. They will also be able to email the Boston admin staff for any UNISA queries they may have. Comprehensive course notes will also be available and work covered in class can be downloaded from the Your Key site.
Testing
Another advantage at Boston comes in the form of our monitoring tests. We keep a close eye on your progress and intervene whenever these tests or other indicators make it clear that you need a guiding hand.
But thanks to our time-management programme for students, our motivating lecturers, and our personal care, you’ll do better than you thought possible.
Admission Help
Students enrolling for a degree course at Boston City Campus will need to complete a registration with UNISA as well as with Boston. Boston Career Counsellors will guide you through all the difficult forms and processes. They will also advise you on the correct modules and inform you of the necessary documents and payments that need to be attached to your UNISA form.
Technology Based Learner Support
Boston is the leader in the field of technology based training. In addition to your regular lectures, students who need to reinforce their knowledge of certain topics, or enhance their understanding of what they may feel unsure of, can sit undisturbed and study these topics in their own time and at their own pace. This training has been created for the numerate subjects in which students are more likely to need additional assistant.
On Campus Recruitments
The Best Connections! The Your Key programme students can complete the Pre-Employment Readiness Programme before interviews. Boston also advertise positions available during the year for full - time or part –time positions , and also for vacation work. Certain companies will also set-up recruitment stations to conduct on - campus recruitment session during the year. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice your interview skills.
Small Classes
Classes at Boston City Campus are limited to a small number of students, so that you can count on personal attention and as much individual tuition as you need. Students can call their lectures for guidance at any time that the lecture is available during campus hours or during the lecture’s consultation hours. Lecturers are also available for consultation during set hours during the week, so you can sit with them and work on any challenges you’re facing. Contrast this with the approach at South Africa’s other varsities and you’ll understand why Boston students do so well.
Committed to our Students – The Boston Vision
Boston City Campus was established in 1991 and has a proud history of academic success. We encourage our students to achieve the highest places in UNISA’s examinations, which they do with remarkable consistency. Students agree that it is Boston’s Your Key programme that makes the difference.
One of the most liberating aspects of a university education is “CAMPUS LIFE”.
