Recognition of Prior Learning
Boston Media House, with the context of RPL, acknowledges that learning takes place through formal, informal and non-formal environments.
In order to provide opportunities for access and redress, Boston provides the relevant services to enable the Recognition of Prior Learning for programmes and standards within the institution’s scope.
Boston endeavours to include learners in a process of recognition of prior achievement to enable access to the qualifications in the institution’s scope through recognition of credits obtained through alternative learning interventions.
Policies and procedures applied to RPL, assessment and the provision for appeal are fully disclosed and freely available.
Language Policy
Boston Media House acknowledges the diversity and equality of the eleven official languages used by the population groups in South Africa and the associated protection of the equality of the official languages as embedded in the Constitution of the country.
Boston however, also takes cognisance of the fact that English is regarded and generally accepted as an International medium for business communication.
