Critical thinking skills are developed by examining relevant case studies, and insight into the various aspects of the PR industry is gained. Crisis communication simulation ensures PR students experience the pressure and deadlines of the Public Relations environment.
Boston Media House students organize Corporate Social Investment projects, for instance, Abangani Children’s Home in Alexandra.
Brand management and building relationships with various stakeholders is taught through the planning and organizing of Boston Media House open days.
Portfolio of work includes house journals, website planning, media strategy, direct mail packages, strategic communication planning, corporate identity policies for companies, sponsorship letters, media kits and press releases.
Communication skills are developed through speeches and lecturing opportunities that give Boston Media House students the extra edge.
