*A maximum of 3 (three) Formative Assessments may be taken and the highest grade achieved in Formative Assessment is retained. The final grade is based on the Summative Assessment only. A maximum of 1 (one) additional supplementary assessment opportunity is provided for the Summative Assessment, which will be charged for.
** No formal formative assessments are written. All Formative Assessments are for practice -purposes only in order to prepare for the Summative Assessment sitting. A supplementary Summative Assessment opportunity is available to all learners who have failed, irrespective of the result obtained. The supplementary opportunity will be charged for.
Membership fees to FMI and Assessments fees to FMI and Pastel will be charged separately.

A National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification or alternatively learners can apply for RPL entry into the Programme from the Academic Committee at Boston Head Office
OCCUPATIONAL SKILLS PROGRAMME / BOSTON SHORT LEARNING PROGRAMME
On successful completion the Learner will be issued a Bookkeeper Skills Programme, with a total of 54 credits on NQF Levels 4/5 from FASSET SETA
A Boston Short Learning Programme: Bookkeeper including a total of 10 Higher Education Credits on NQF L5 (HCLT1) and a total of 14 Higher Education Credits at NQF L6 (HCLT2).
FURTHER STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
On successful completion the Learner may apply for admission with advanced placement to an accredited Boston Higher Education Programme.
